Here's a quick guide to basic Poly Point Hacking and Palette changes.
First we get our base addresses for the polygon that we want to hack.
Here's the addresses that Flashman posted
8007B72C Front Left Apron
8007B6F8 Front Right Apron
8007B6C4 Left Upper Apron
8007B690 Left Lower Apron
8007B65C Right Lower Apron
8007B628 Right Upper Apron
8007B5F4 Back Right Apron
8007B5C0 Back Left Apron
Let's have a look at the Front Left Apron.
In the Address bar, enter 8007B72C, this will bring you to the following. The bit highlighted is your Poly Point location.
The next bit highlighted below is the palette location.
Going back to our Poly Point location, enter the values you see there into the address bar and you should see the following.
Being able to read the values will help here. 0118 is the very left of the apron and 0000 is the middle of the apron. We want to stretch it to the very right, so we change the 0000 values to FEE8. (If you compare it with the Front Right Apron values, you'll see why). Once you've changed it, you'll see that the texture stretches across, and now you can use 1 texture for an apron instead of 2 textures.
Now, to change the texture without having to change the actual texture value, we'll change the palette. So enter the address for the palette location.
You'll then see the following screen. The part highlighted is what will allow you to change the texture in real time.
Edit: It seems like you'll need to search for the value F5000100 and change the last 2 00's.
Change the last value to 1 and see the change and a new texture will dump if you've selected the dump texture function.
You can change the value again and you'll get another texture.
You can increase the values to get new textures.
Just remember, if you change polys and textures, the 802 address will change. They won't be the same as what I've shown. For the default Raw arena, then it'll be what I've shown.
I'd customize the activators so that they only work if those values are loaded.
So in the example above, I'd use the apron poly points that I'm not changing as activators. I'm using 2 activators so you don't get problems backstage.
My final code will be
D1295D00 0118
D1295D02 005A
81295D20 FEE8
D1295D00 0118
D1295D02 005A
81295D30 FEE8
